New OOC Rules

Postby Aya » Tue Jun 05, 2012 10:00 pm

Ok guys, since it's obvious no one was paying attention to the thread posted in the OOC section, I'll post it here too. If that doesn't work then we will just flat out lock the OOC section and you'll have to wait to use your thread until we move it.

the new OOC sections have been posted and unlocked. All new OOC threads MUST be posted in the new sections now. This OOC section will be renamed as an archive for all the old unused oocs.

What this means now is that if you want to RP but don't have an idea for a plot, post here and work it out. Once you get your players and some ideas for what genre you want to play in then contact the mod(s) and ask them to move your thread to the proper genre. If you do know what genre, but don't have a plot in mind, feel free to post right in the genre OOC and brainstorm from there. This section is only for those that don't have a specific genre in mind yet.

Since people are still not paying attention....

The OOC section will be locked as of saturday morning (june 16th) at about 6:30 am Central. The mods will then be moving as many OOC topics as they can that day to the proper genre specific sections. Too many people are still posting new threads and making it difficult for us to finish the job. So, this is what we're going to do.

Now, this OOC section will remain locked. You will still be able to read, but you will not be able to post or create new threads. That being said, I will be making a new thread for you guys to post requests to have your OOC moved from the old section if you're still using it and we didn't move it. We either didn't get around to it or it hadn't been posted in recently and was assumed dead.

The old OOCs will not be removed. They will remain there for you to browse your old threads and use them again for recycled ideas.

The OOC section (now renamed to The Archives) has been locked. You can still read the posts but you cannot post or create new threads. All threads must now be posted in the specific genre sections.

The mods are now working to move as many OOC threads as we can today. If you need your thread right away and we haven't gotten to it yet, please post here with a link to your thread. The mods will be watching it and will get to it as soon as they see it.

That one would be nice.

I have moved your thread to Traditional Fantasy as it seemed to be the most appropriate. But if you need it moved elsewhere (mature or some such) feel free to PM me.

Cheers,
UA.

Traditional is just fine.
