That is a really beautiful poem. It is so sad and yet it has a message of hope in it too. I think that you have really captured something special there Johannes.

Sir Robert rolled his eyes then chuckled. "Don't want you getting beaten again", he said quietly. "Though I think that perhaps Dargor might be angry enough to turn you into an unpleasant creature if he were to catch you stealing from him again".

"Indeed", said Sir Robert, pretending to look stern but with a twinkle in his eyes. "Is that a challenge, young man?" Sir Robert was quite an experienced drinker but of course, he didn't know if Gathras was or not. Yet he wasn't about to pass up a chance to show off in front of t...

"Humph, I do not snore that bad", said Sir Robert. "If I did, I would surely wake myself up from the snoring". However, he wasn't cross with Gathras for teasing him because he was far too hungry. He quickly brushed his hair and when Dargor knocked on the door, Sir Robert called b...

"Huh?", Sir Robert muttered, still sleepy. He finally sat up and rubbed the stickiness from his eyes. "Umm...dinner? Ah, thank you for waking me Gathras. I was in a really deep sleep then".

Sir Robert did not hear Dargor comes in, as he was in a very deep sleep. He had been travelling for days and had had very little sleep on his journey, so now he was catching up on his rest.

Sir Robert also drank his water; it was sweet and refreshing...almost as if it had come straight from a mountain spring. Seeing Gathras lie down on the bed, he said, "Ah, now I think that is a good idea. Let us rest for a while before dinner is served". Sir Robert took off his boots and th...

"Yes, yes of course", said Sir Robert, his embarrassment beginning to end. He went into the bathroom and soon returned with two full glasses of water; one which he gave to Gathras.

"Umm, well...it's nothing really", said Sir Robert, fiddling with the wet towel on the rack. He cleared his throat. "Erm...well, I think I'll go and get a glass of water...quite thirsty now you know".

IC:

Sir Robert quickly looked away as Gathras' towel fell off. He blushed deeply, feeling very embarrassed for having accidentally seen his friend naked.

"Of course", said Sir Robert. He picked up a dry towel and began to rub Gathras' hair...taking care not to pull on it. "Hmm, I wonder what we will be having for dinner?", he said.

Sir Robert washed his hair, face and neck in the bowl of water by his bedside. It was warm and fragrant and when he was done, he felt refreshed. He dried his hair with a fluffy towel and then hung the towel on a rack to dry it. "Ah, that feels so much better", he sighed.

"Ah, I didn't notice that door", said Sir Robert. "Ha, proves that my eyes are getting tired. Well if you wish to use the bathroom, I shall have a wash here". He yawned and rubbed at his sticky eyes...he was becoming sleepy, as it had been hot outside and the hot weather always m...

Sir Robert laughed. "No, I didn't mean a full bath", he said. "I meant a wash". He pointed over to the washing jugs. "I want to wash my face and neck and hair, to refresh myself before our meal". He looked around..."...I don't think there is a bathroom here".

Sir Robert thanked the servant and went inside the room. It was large and airy, with wooden panelled walls and large, diamond paned windows. Two comfortable looking beds stood on the far wall, with a side table drawer by each one and there were jugs of washing water and clean towels set out on top o...

"Ah, don't worry Gathras", said Sir Robert kindly. "You should have seen the stuff that happened to us knights when we were at training school. Some of it would have made your hair stand on end, I am sure of it".
